The school year has all but
closed, the gramamr (sic) departments having completed their work this
week,
the local school graduating
twelve pupils who will enter the High School in the Fall.
With the coming week
the High School will close for the year.
The graduating class was
entertained at the home of W.S. GODFREY, Jr., last evening.
On Sunday morning the baccalaureate
sermon will be preached by Rev. W.E. BOBBITT at the Christian Church.
On Friday the class will
be handed their diplomas and graduated without any ostentation,
they having decided to dispense
with all exercises as an expression of sympathy for San Francisco.
