Brown, Secretary of the State of California, do hereby certify that a copy of the Articles of Incorporation of THE JONATHAN CLUB, certified by the County Clerk of the County of Los Angeles, as a copy of such articles filed in his office was filed in this office on the 23rd day of September, A. D. 1895, which articles and the copy thereof contained the required Statement of Facts, to-wit: First, the name of the corporation as aforesaid. Second, the purpose for which it is framed. Third, the place where its principal business is to be transacted. Fourth, the term for which it is to exist. Fifth, the number of its directors or trustees and the names and residences of those who are appointed for the first year. And I do hereby further certify, that the Articles of Incor- poration set forth the holding of the election for directors, the time and place where the same was held, that a majority of the members of such association were present and voted at such election and the result thereof, which facts were verified by the officers conducting the election.
