*** Source: Jonathan Club, Los Angeles, 1909. *** ---page 33--- XXIV Members who desire to entertain in private dining rooms, when the party includes more than five persons who are not members, shall first obtain the consent of the House Com- mittee. XXV Card playing will not be allowed in any private dining room of the Club. XXVI No game for a wager of money shall be allowed in the Club. The game of Poker is strictly prohibited. XXVII No subscriptions shall be solicited, nor any article ex- posed for sale, nor any advertising permitted in the Club Quarters except the usual holiday subscriptions for the em- ployees of the Club. XXVIII The right of members to occupy sleeping rooms in the Club Quarters may be terminated at any time by the House Committee. XXIX Rooms will be charged to occupants until cancelled at the office. XXX No transfers, assignments or sub-letting of rooms shall be made by members in the Club, except by permission of the House Committee. XXXI Members or visitors occupying rooms by the day must give notice at the office of intention to vacate the same by noon, otherwise a charge will be made for the additional day. XXXII Two persons occupying one sleeping room, will each be charged for the room. 33 3 ---end---
