T. McCabe organized and did preliminary financing of high speed electric project from Boston to Salem, 1907; purchased Colombian Railway Commission, and organized syndicate to complete same, 1908-9, and had started operation when President Reyes of Colombia fled the country and entanglements that fol- lowed tied up this enterprise; financed parties owning large coal and oil properties, 1910; traveled through northwest Canada and Pacific Coast States, looking over the field, 1911; organized So. Cal. Utilities Co., Cal. Riverside Land Co., Riverside, Redlands Interurban Ry., and San Diego, Riverside and L. A. Ry.
