Returned to Paris and was salesman, interpreter and hatter five years; moved to Los Angeles in 1901 and was employed by American Dye Works; established St, Paul Dye Works at Santa Barbara and conducted same until 1908, when he moved to San Diego and es- tablished the Lory Paris Cleaning & Dye Co., of which he is mgr., secy. and treas.
