Co., holding different clerical positions for seven years; moved to Denver and was salesman for American Can Co.; eight months later was made manager of same firm; two years later was manager of an independent can company, holding po- sition two years; moved to Los Angeles, 1909, and engaged in real estate business; later was engaged as sales- man for the American Disappearing Bed Co. of Los Angeles; elected sales manager shortly after entering the employment of this firm; one year later was made manager of the Bed Dept. of the Hughes Manufacturing & Lumber Co. of Los Angeles, which position he holds to date; is consid- ered an authority on building ordi- nances, and drawing plans for apart- ment houses, etc., with space-saving devices.
