Dated: 17 May 1851 Filed: 26 June 1854 In the name of God Amen----I, William Gulnak, a native of the City of Hudson in the State of New York in the United States of America and now a resident of San Jose in the County of Santa Clara, and State of California, being of infirm health and sensible of the uncertainty of life, but of sound and disposing mind and memory, do hereby make, publish and declare this my last will and testament, hereby revoking and annulling all wills and codicils of wills heretofore by me at any time made. My body at death I desire to have buried with the Sepulture of the Christian Church according to my station, and my soul I command in mercy to Him who gave it. All my property and estate both real and personal.....I devise and bequeath to my beloved wife Maria Isabel Sesenna as my executrix and Andrew J. Yates, Esq. of San Jose as my executor for the following trust purposes. My said Ececutor and Executrix after my decease may dispose or sell....all or any of my property or estate....in the State of California and use same to pay my just debts for the maintainance of my family with full power to dispose of the same at public or private sale according to their best judgement, to collect all debts...and to apply same for my family and to divide the property among the children and to close up and settle the estate... My desire is that my son, Charles Gulnack shall be associated as executor with my said wife, Maria, and the said Yates as executor withe full powers and that they administer my estate without Bond or Security.
