Will of Elizabeth Townsend, San Jose, California.

Filed: 11 January 1850
This is my last will and testament.
First, That Doctor Vancanacham is a Father and Mother
to my son John Henry Townsend.
Secently, That my brother Moses Schallenberger is the
sole executor of all my and my son's possessions.
Third, I bequeath to Doctor Vancanacham one third
of my property on Californey Street property and one
third to my son, and the other third to my brother,
each and all of them have and to hold through life
time and then to go to their heirs and asines-But
never to sell it.

Mary Ann Lads I will her one of
my lots in the Pueblo de San Jose.
In additition to my last will as above written I leave
to Marian Loka all my clothes-I leave a lot in Benicia
to William P. Waters and I leave to Mr. Provost one
acre where his house is built and ten acre field. To
Ramone I leave a lot in the Pueblo de San Jose, to his
little girl I also leave a lot in the same place.
To Ann I also leave a lot in the Pueblo de San Jose,
to Mary Lock I also leave a lot in the Pueblo de San
Jose.
