A very happy marriage service was held in the Congregational Parsonage July 7th when the Rev. W.H. Atkinson united two of his sons in marriage. Dr. Henry Herbert ATKINSON, and Miss Tacy A. WILKINSON; and the Rev. George Ernest ATKINSON and Miss Orrill E. SHERER. Dr. Atkinson is a graduate of Iowa College and Cooper Medical College and starts this week for Kharput, Eastern Turkey. He has recently been appointed as Medical Missionary. On his way he will spend some time in the hospitals of Paris. The Rev. George E. Atkinson is also a graduate of Iowa College and of Pacific Theological Seminary in Oakland. Since his graduation he has been pastor of the Congregational Church of Tekoa, Washington and of the Church at Etna, Siskiyou Co., Calif. where he will return with his bride. |
