Wedding Is Secret For Three Months It was a great surprise to the many friends of Miss Miriam Locati, the charming daughter of Mrs. H. Locati, to learn that she had slipped quietly away and was married at St. Patrick’s Church at San Jose on March 20, 1920, to Mr. Carl S. Olsen, a prominent Olympic Club athlete, and the son of Captain H. E. Olsen of Rodeo. The young groom holds a responsible position with the Oliver Chilled Plow Company. The young couple will reside in San Rafael for the summer
months.
Pretty Wedding At Du Bois Home In a bower of fragrance composed of baby roses, pink sweet peas, green decoration, Miss Mary Whitney DuBois, the pretty daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Charles H. DuBois, last Monday night became the bride of William Frederick Gasman, of Los Angeles, at a ceremony performed in the presence only of the families at the DuBois home. The ceremony was performed by Dr. Lynn T. White. The bride was attended by her sister, Miss Lillian DuBois, and the best man was Donald Hunter, her brother. After the ceremony the guests were seated at a large round table, appropriately adorned with flowers. The couple left immediately by motor for a honeymoon trip through southern California, and upon its completion they will take possession of a home which the groom has prepared in Los Angeles. Gasman is manager of the southern district for Libby, McNeil & Libby, an extremely responsible position won by merit alone. The bride is well known here, where she attended school
and was a member of the younger social circles.
