In one of the social events of the season, Miss Jean Louisiana Foster, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Foster, of this city will become the bride of Frederic F. Spalding at high noon on Thanksgiving Day. Although the wedding will be a quiet one and will take place at the home of her grandmother, Mrs. A. W. Foster, it is considered one of the most interesting weddings announced this season.

Dr. Lynn T. White, lifelong friend of the Foster family, will officiate. A family dinner will follow the nuptials. The young bridal couple will make their home in Fort Bragg, where the groom-to-be is in business.
