Beverly Barry, a graduate of the Marin Junior College, was a bridesmaid
Saturday at the wedding of Miss Jeanne Harriet McNally and Mr. John
A. Christen in Petaluma.

Stoll of Cotati and Rosalie Bimean of San Jose were married by Judge H.
Rudolff at his home on Railroad Avenue.

wedding of much interest to their friends will be that of Miss Hazel Pepper,
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Pepper of Bolinas, and Mr. George
Knowles,
son of Mr. A. Knowles of Boyd Park, San Rafael.
The couple will take their wedding vows in the presence of their immediate families and close friends at t he home of Dr. and Mrs. Hall Weston in Petaluma, on Saturday, Nov. 30. Miss Evelyn Pepper, sister of the bride elect, will be her only attendant at the ceremony, and Mr. Virgilio Cheda will be best man. Miss Pepper is very popular and is a graduate of the Tamalpais High School. The couple will reside at Bolinas following their wedding. |
Bonnie
Strother Weds Dr. Wm. F. Upton
Miss Bonnie Strother, 27, daughter of Walter M. Strother, secretary of the board of trustees for the Calif. Palace of Legion of Honor, was wed Monday to Dr. William F. Upton, 30, resident dentist of San Quentin prison, and the son of Charles H. Upton, chief federal probation officer. The ceremony took place in the rectory of St. Cecelia’s Church, in San Francisco, and both proud fathers are beaming over the union of their families. The couple will live in Marin following their honeymoon. |
Ernest
George,
and his bride, the former Miss Caroline Hilliard will start soon
on their honeymoon for Salt Lake City.
The couple were wed in the Methodist church last Saturday evening by Rev. Homer S. Bodley pastor of the church, in a candle-lighted ceremony which was very attractive. The bride in a gown of blue lace over pink was given in marriage by her father and was attended by Miss Mildren Evers. Barbara Joan Buck was flower girl and Albert Sharp best man. Miss Alice Russel played the wedding march. Mr. and Mrs. J. F. Hilliard of San Rafael are the parents of the bride and she is the secretary of the Townsend Club here. Her husband is employed by the Northwestern Pacific Railroad and the couple will make their home here. |
