Fifteen graduated from the Hitchcock Military Academy on last Friday evening when the commencement exercises were held in the large hall at the school. The exercises were opened by Rev. G.M. Cutting of St. Paul’s Church. Hon. W.W. Morrow of the United States Circuit Court was the speaker of the evening. R.G. Adams, president of the class of 1910 delivered the valedictory. Rev. Charles Hitchcock, principal of the school, closed the program. The graduating class are:

ADAMS, R. – President of the class, editor of the ’09 Sentinel, all around athlete
LAFFIN, JOHN E. – Secretary of the class, one of the best track and football men in the school
HELIMAN, RICHARD N. – Treasurer of the class, and also noted athlete and distance runner
ALLEN, BEVERLY S.
BOYES, BEDFORD – President of debating society and athlete
CLAUSSEN, THOMAS H.
DE LA CRUZ, HENRY – Captain B Company, 09-10
DUNCAN, DAVID – winner of prize medals for languages, history and English, 1909
GUNN, KENNETH B. – First Lieutenant A Company, noted football and baseball athlete
HEDEMANN, E.W. – Music and dramatics and noted in the rifle club
HITCHCOCK, M.E. – founder of the school paper, manager of the Sentinel, and leader of the band
LUIGE – Noted baseball player
PARKIN, JOHN – Lieutenant and quartermaster, member of the rifle club and track team
