The Mount Tamalpais Military Academy closed its sixty-fourth session
on Saturday, with commencement exercises in the First Presbyterian church.
Fourteen cadets completed their work of whom five were in the Commercial
Class and will return for the regular diploma next year. Original enrollments
of the class were: Burrell Milo Baucom, Portland; Walter Marian Cofer,
San Francisco; Joseph Orey Hawkins, San Rafael; Raymond Barney Livingston,
Oakland; Albert Kaainoa Makinney, Honolulu; Ricardo Godoy, Guatemala; George
Fitzgerald O’Brien, Manila; Reginald Mansfield Farran, New York; Amado
Avence, Manila; Herbert Dean Ayton, Manila; Harry Throckmorton Gibbs Jr.,
San Francisco; Frederick Charles Hagedorn, Jr., Manila; Hector Edmund Hagedorn,
Manila. Of these cadets, Ricardo Godoy leads in a residence of six and
one half years at the Academy. Eight of the nine regular graduates plan
to enter California, Stanford, Reed and Penn State colleges and universities.
