High School life will close tonight for twenty-four young men and women in San Rafael.
Commencement exercises will be held beginning at 8 o'clock this evening in Garden Theatre, which has been appropriately decorated for this momentous occasion in the lives of the students who will step forth from the platform to pursue the lines of their various degrees – some to higher seats of learning, and some to office work and practical beginnings in the careers they have chosen.
Out of the twenty-four graduates there are but six young men.
The address of the evening will be made by Hon. E. B. Martinelli. In addition to vocal and instrumental selections by several talented local artists, the program will consist of the address of the class president, Miss Frances Bond; "The Short Story," by Miss Jessie Niven; "Public Speaking," by Peter Cook, Jr., and "Nature in Literature," by Miss Nellie Foley.
