Archbishop Edward J. Hanna delivered the address last Thursday night to a large audience in Hall Rafael that had gathered to attend the graduation exercises of the class of Saint Raphael’s School. Diplomas were awarded to a class of seven.
An allegorical play entitled “In Quest of Truth,” was presented by the pupils of the school. Before the production there was a program of music, instrumental and vocal, by the students.
The cast of characters was as follows: A Knight, Augustine Hyams; a Lady, Margaret Hyams; Queen of Fairies, Catherine Grady; Queen of Fates, Julia Cummings; Herlad, John Leonardi; Fates, Life, Death and Change, Melba Foppiano, Sarah de Cima and Helen Whaley; Pilgrims, Wealth, Power, Wisdom and Doubt, George Collins, Leslie Foppiano, Willis Mollen and Joseph Giordano.
Diplomas were awarded to Leslie Francis
FOPPIANO, Frank Joseoph GRIFFIN, Joseph Peter GIORDANO, Catherine Frances
GRADY, Augustine Mary HYAMS, John Francis LEONARDI and John Willis MOLLEN.
