Each index lists the Spanish soldiers/sailors who were in service during the 1779-1783 period, and references about them. If not purchased, which is the easiest access, the books and indexes are available on loan from the National Genealogical Society and the New England Historical and Genealogical Society. They are also available at the NSSAR Library, the NSDAR Library, the Library of Congress, Family History Library (LDS) at Salt Lake City, Sutro Library, Los Angeles Public Library, San Diego Public Library, Southern California Genealogical Society, Orange County Genealogical Society, Dallas Public Library, The Autry Museum of Western Heritage, The Huntington Library, and other places. They will generally be in the Genealogical sections of these libraries.
