It is the fond hope and sincere aim of the Staff of the 1929 Jefferson Spirit that this book may prove a source of pleasure to everyone.  May it especially serve to remind the Senior Class of the many happy and profitable hours it enjoyed at Jefferson Union High School.
    The class of 1929 is proud to have the distinction of being the first class to enter as freshmen our new school building.  As the Pioneer Class, then, we should remember always to maintain as our guiding star the spirit of a true pioneer.
    May the class of 1929 always hold the name of our Alma Mater above all reproach--and in years to come, may our own lives be the reflection of the spirit of the Pioneer Class of Jefferson Union High School.
