ALUMNI notes

Among our representatives at Stanford are Clyde CROBAUGH, '15, winner of the Bonheim essay prize; Bryan ADAMS, John BROKENSHIRE, '15, Neil PETREE, '15, Raymond HATCH, George KOCHER, Virgil HALEY, Arthur WARREN, Sidney RYAN, and Arthur JOHNSON, prominent debater and essayist.

Attending California are Matt HAZELTINE, '12, President of the graduating class of the University; Victor CHRISTOPHER, Edith SHERBURNE, Anna BRAKE, Alice DE WITT, Reva CARTWRIGHT, Ralph OPPENHEIMER, and Floyd STEWART. Mr. STEWART was recently elected President of the Associated Students of Califronia, and he is also the manager of the Blue and Gold, the college annual.

Attending Davis are several model farmers from San Jose--Bryon LUNDY, Lloyd STELLING, William LANDELS, and Grandin MILLER.

At Normal we find Lydia INNES, Helen NUGENT, Lucille CRAIG, Clarence PEARCE, Einar SORENSON, Irma RIDLEY, Ethel HALL, Cecil FREEMAN, Bessie LENFEST, Elma BRODERICK, Lyla BAER, Alta SIMS, Elgie SAY, Lola WEAVER, Gladys ROSS, Martha LAURISTON, Adarhyle CAMBERS, Anita RIORDAN, Arthur DORR, George BOYD, Annabelle MITCHELL. On the staff of the Normal Times are the following alumni: Florence HUNTER, '13; Elsie LETSON, Edna CARLSON, Marjorie FITCH, George BOYD, Anthony TEXIERA, Doris McMILLAN, Leo TAYLOR, Clotilde MAYHEW, Cyril FROST.

Among the Alumni registered at "Pacific" are Veva SEELY, Ethleen DISMUKES, Elmer FREEMAN, June CHASE, Herbert RILEY, Louie FISKE, Evelyn MILLER, and Herbert WALKER, who is studying to be an analytic chemist.

Among our representatives at Santa Clara University are Clarence CANELO, Roy EMERSON, Elmer JENSEN, George NICHOLSON, Adolph CANELO, and Marshall GARLINGER.

Several marriages have recently occurred: Glee HAGEMAN, '15, and Lee HIATT; Irma OGDEN and Vernon REEVES; Martha JOHNSON and Charles COLYER; Ruth RIX and Albert KLEEMEYER; Gertrude TUTHILL and Howard CURRY.

Many of our Alumni are in the business world, and others in professions, each one a credit to his Alma Mater.

Henry A. SUZZALO, '93, is President of Washington State University.
Wilmer GROSS is junior partner in the firm of Gross & Son, of San Jose.
Frank H. BENSON, '91, is State Senator of California.
Clarence ARGALL, '15, is in a dental office in San Francisco.
Guy and Roy ENTRIKEN, '10, are deputy assessors in the office of County Assessor Pitman.
Claude ARGALL, '15, is employed in the Leonard Construction Company of San Francisco.
Norman McCOLLOM, '16, is on the oil ship Frank H. Buck.
Miriam DONALD, '15, is employed in the Carnegie Library.
Will B. OWEN, '10, will practice law at Fresno with Walter H. STAMMER, '09.
Webster BAER, '14, is in business in Tokyo, Japan.
