Last of City's Gas Lamps

The last of the old gas lamps are disappearing from the streets of San Francisco. During the last four years 6000 of the old lamps have been supplanted by modern forms of illumination. In co-operation with the Supervisor's Lighting Committee, the Pacific Gas and Electric Company is now removing the last of the old lamps.
