Sutro's holdings are cataloged and can be checked online using
MELVYL.
Sutro is the largest genealogical library west of Salt Lake City.
Their holdings contain materials from all over the United States.
The total book count is over 150,000 and there are more than 65,000 microforms.
This includes more than 10,000 family histories, 40,000 state, regional,
county, and town histories, including vital records, 20,000 city directories,
and 10,000 telephone books.
