"DONNELLY--The San Francisco ‘Star’ gives the following
account of the marriage of a young lady well and favorably known in Salinas:
Last week Capt. A.B. DONNELLY was married to Miss Julia A. HARRIS,
of Salinas. The captain is a well-known and much respected citizen -- one
of the heroes of the late war. The bride is the beautiful niece of Dr.
HARRIS
of San Jose and daughter of Captain T.G. HARRIS of Salinas. The
happy couple spent their honeymoon at Del Monte, and on their return were
given a hearty greeting by their friends. On Monday night they were serenaded
by one of the camps of the Grand Army. Long life and happiness to them."

an illness of about two months. He was much respected by all who made his

and other misfortunes, had so reduced his means as to leave his family,

of Salinas, was the best man. The ceremony was witnessed by a few friends
and relatives of the contracting parties. The wedding breakfast was served
at the residence of Mrs. J.B.H. COOPER. At its close the happy couple
took their departure for Sacramento where the groom will represent Monterey
County during the coming session of the Legislature. The wedding presents

Landing, on the Sacramento River, refusing to live with her. Sometimes
he would visit her place of residence in San Francisco, but only to see
their two boys. Mrs. DUTTON says that her husband owns much real
estate in San Francisco and in Solano County, with an income of $25,000
