"GLOCKER/SCHAFER--A very pretty wedding took
place Saturday evening, November 17, at 256 Third avenue when Rudolph F.
GLOCKER
took as his bride Miss Ellen G*. SCHAFER. The marriage ceremony
was performed by the Rev. C. Linquest of the Swedish Lutheran Church. After
the marriage ceremony thirty friends and relatives showered congratulations
on the newly wedded pair. The bride was given into the keeping of her husband
by her father, E. SCHAFER. Miss Hilda CLARK was bridesmaid.
The bridegroom was attended by Robert H. WEST of the United States
quarter master department. After a piano recital by Mrs. MACINTOSH
a nice wedding supper was served, during which the guests were entertained
by M. J. MUNDT with song, Mrs. MACINTOSH with piano recitals,
and G. GLOCKER Sr**., with short stories. Speeches of congratulation
were made by A.E. SMITH, C.A. VANDENBAS and D.W. RYAN.
The rooms were beautifully decorated with chrysanthemums, roses and ferns.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E. SCHAFER of 415 Third
avenue and is quite a favorite with the younger set in the Richmond district.
Mr. GLOCKER is the son of Mr. and Mrs. R. GLOCKER of 535
Waller street, formerly of Sacramento. Mr.
GLOCKER is a young business
man, being connected with the firm of Coffin-Redington Company wholesale
druggists. Amid a shower of old shoes and congratulations the happy couple
left for Southern California. After their return they will be at home at
256 Third avenue. The following guest were present: Messrs. And Mesdames,
D.W. RYAN; J.C. SAND; G.F. SAND; F.SAND; R.
GLOCKER;
C. A. VANDENBAS; F. CLARK; G. SAND; Mesdames MACINTOSH
