"GOHRONSON/FLINT--Miss Corinne FLINT Now Mrs. GOHRONSON--MARYSVILLE (Yuba Co.), June 8 - Word has reached here to the effect that Miss Corinne FLINT, a well-known young woman of this city, has been married in San Francisco to Afkar GOHRONSON, of that city. A license was issued on Wednesday, but beyond that nothing is known at present, or by Miss FLINT's most intimate friends. It is understood that Mr. GOHRONSON is connected with a San Francisco hospital, and Miss FLINT herself is a trained nurse. "GOING/GOING--MRS. GOING GIVEN DIVORCE AND FARM--CORNING (Tehama Co.), November 1 - Word was received here last night to the effect that Mrs. Bertha Jane GOING was granted a divorce from her husband, Captain GOING, in San Francisco yesterday and that their ranch hear here known as "Traveston," had been transferred to her in lieu of all alimony. Captain GOING, being on the high seas en route to the Orient, did not appear, but witnesses were introduced to prove that he had announced his intention to no longer live with his American wife. It will be remembered, as published in The Bee, that the gay Captain has a Malay wife in Japan, a woman he lived with before marrying Mrs. GOING, and that on one of his many visits to the Orient, he again met her after his marriage here, and his old love was rekindled. This phase of the matter was not brought out in the proceedings yesterday, Mrs. GOING being satisfied to have her status as a legal wife established and her freedom, with the Tehama County farm given to her." "GOODALE/MASON--Miss Katherine MASON, youngest daughter of John MASON, the well-known Marin County pioneer, was united in marriage yesterday to George Mortimer GOODALE of Boston. The wedding was solemized at the home of the bride’s father at Alameda Point [Marin County, CA]. The officiating clergyman was the Rev. Burr M. Weeden of St. Luke’s Church, San Francisco. The wedding was attended only by the immediate families of the young couple. After the wedding breakfast the bride and groom departed for a trip through the southern part of the State. After visiting the various places of interest they will leave for a brief visit at the home of the groom in Boston. "GORDON/COX--Miss Maggie COX has resigned her position as teacher in the Gonzales schools and returned to her home in Pajaro. The following item, taken from the society columns of the San Francisco 'Chronicle' explains the young lady's retirement from school teaching: "The engagement is announced of Miss Maggie COX, daughter of Peter COX, a prominent banker of Watsonville, and Dr. S.B. GRIFFITH were united in marriage…The bridal party entered to the strains of Lohengrin’s wedding march…played by the groom’s sister, Miss Helene SCHULTZ. The bride, the stately daughter of Mrs. Ellen McAULIFFE of Hollister, was radiant…The bridesmaid, Miss Edna SCHULTZ, was daintily attired… The groom was attended by the bride’s brother, Frank McAULIFFE of San Francisco. After the ceremony the party returned to the residence of the groom’s parents, Mr. & Mrs. Chas. H. SCHULTZ, where a sumptuous wedding breakfast was served.
