"LeROY/LeROY--In the presence of nearly 100 invited guests, George LeROY was married to his former wife, Ruby L. LeROY, in the parlors of the Hotel Hollister shortly after 10 o’clock Tuesday evening. The ceremony was performed by Justice AGNEW…Mrs.LeROY is an exceedingly charming lady and has for the past 2 years been a resident of Fresno. The groom is the popular day clerk at the Hotel Hollister and is too well known to our readers to need any introduction. The wedding ceremony was delayed some time owing to an accident that befell the groom. He went to San Francisco to meet Mrs. LeROY, who came up from Fresno, and after seeing her to a seat in the car, was engaged checking her baggage when the train pulled out and left him, an angry and greatly perturbed man, standing on the platform with his bride speeding towards Hollister. George had been too long on earth to be stumped with a proposition like that so he boarded the overland, reaching Gilroy shortly after 9 o’clock. At the station, an auto in charge of Norman GILMORE was waiting, into which George jumped, everything was turned wide open and in 45 minutes he was in the Hotel Hollister parlors receiving the congratulations of the waiting guests."
