The young man, who gave his name as Harold LOUDERBACK and age as 22, is a son of Judge LOUDERBACK, and the lady of his choice is Harriet COLYER, aged 19, with whom he has been smitten some time." LUFKIN, a well-known traveling man of Los Angeles, and Miss Louise SCHILD, daughter of Draughtsman George SCHILD, of the Navy yard, and Mrs. Schild, took place in the Presbyterian Church here, the Rev. T.F. BURNHAM officiating. Miss Mamie LUCHSCHINGER, daughter of ex-Senator LUCHSHINGER, and the Misses BRUN, of San Francisco, were the bridesmaids, and Miss Mabel LUFKIN, of Los Angeles, maid of honor. The bride was born and reared here and is a gifted elocutionist, having appeared at many charitable entertainments both here and throughout Solano County. No bride in Vallejo has had such a numerous and choice collection of wedding presents. Mr. and Mrs. LUFKIN will travel for a year and then locate in Los Angeles." "LUNDBERG--On Saturday evening , the 10th inst., a suprise party was given to Mr. And Mrs. Peter T. LUNDBERG, at their residence, No. 1080 Broadway Street in honor of the twenty-fifth anniversary of their marriage. The company met at the residence of Mrs. W.G. COUSINS, and at nine o'clock all proceeded to the home of Mr. and Mrs. LUNDBERG. After congratulations and presentation of many handsome gifts,singing and dancing were indulged in till eleven o'clock, when the guests partook of supper. The house and conservatory were beautifully and tastefully decorated with evergreens and flowers, and illuminated with Japanese lanterns. The ceremony took place at the home of the bride's parents and was attended principally by the relatives of the bride and groom. After the nuptial knot had been tied, the happy party partook of a sumptuous repast, accompanied by toasts and many good wishes for the future welfare of the happy couple. They were then escorted to the train by a host of friends, and took their departure (amidst great rejoicing) for San Francisco, where they will make their future home." "LYLE/MILLER--MARRIES FORMER TEHAMA TEACHER--REDDING (Shasta Co.), December 27 - John R. LYLE, senior member of the Dunsmuir mercantile firm of KNIGHT & LYLE, and Miss Clara Belle MILLER, teacher in the Dunsmuir schools, were married here yesterday morning by Superior Judge HEAD and departed for San Francisco, where they will remain for a week or more. Miss MILLER taught school in Tehama County for nine years and resigned last Summer as President of the County Board of Education to accept a position in the Dunsmuir school. Miss MILLER taught school at Hooker, a siding above Red Bluff, and at the time of the "Hooker wreck" won fame and praise for the prompt aid she rendered the injured. Besides being a successful business man of Dunsmuir, Mr. LYLE is largely interested in mines in Shasta County, owning extensions of the Balaklala and the Shasta King, near Kennett."
