"TAUSSIG/FRANK--The TAUSSIG-FRANK Wedding. Last Wednesday evening the marriage of Miss Cecilia FRANK and Mr. Isaac W. TAUSSIG was solemnized at the Maison Dorec, in the presence of a large and fashionable company. The private parlors on the third floor were used for the occasion and were elegantly decorated in honor of the event. In the large bay window, where the marriage rites were performed, the decorations consisted of a wedding bell of pure white chrysanthemums and draperies of pink and white tulle, looped up with garlands of pale pink chrysanthemums, above which hovered a flock of white doves. Palms and ferns flanked the windows on either side, and hearth and mantle were clothed in a robe of the choicest and most fragrant blossoms, while around the apartment draperies of smilax gemmed with many a fair flower added beauty to the appointments. At the conclusion of the ceremony the wedding party was ushered into the private dining room, where some seventy guests partook of the wedding banquet. Here, too, the choicest flowers and foliage lent beauty to the surroundings and a warmth of color was awarded by the silken draperies which canopied the table. Several hours were spent in discussing the merits of the menu and in toasting the happiness and prosperity of the bride and groom before the party separated. The happy couple left next day for a tour of the southern counties, on returning from which they will settle down to housekeeping in this city." "THIGPEN/THIGPEN--Wealth cannot buy the love and companionship of a husband, according to the testimony of Mrs. Jessie Perry THIGPEN, formerly of Sacramento, who told Judge Bernard J. FLOOD to-day that she cried from loneliness so much it affected her digestion. The Court gave her a divorce from William G. THIGPEN, owner of a string of San Francisco apartment houses. The wife declined alimony, with the statement that she was independent in her own right. Shortly after their marriage at Sacramento in 1917, Mrs. THIGPEN said her husband began staying away from home so many evenings she became ill from weeping. They separated last November. Mrs. Lillian PRESCOTT, corroborating witness, said THIGPEN remarked to her once that as a husband was expected to share his property with his wife, he saw no reason why a wife should not share her property with her husband."
